Why I started this site

Working around people in tech for years made me increasingly curious about building things myself.

For a long time, I hesitated to seriously explore coding. I was always on the business side of things, and somewhere along the way I convinced myself that building products belonged to “technical people”.

But back in university, I actually learnt C and genuinely enjoyed it. Life just took me in a different direction. I focused on materials engineering, entrepreneurship, and eventually operations and business.

Coding slowly became something I left behind.

Then AI tools started appearing.

At first I was just experimenting out of curiosity. Small tests, random workflows, simple ideas. It still wasn’t easy, and honestly there’s still a steep learning curve.

But for the first time, building things started to feel accessible again.

Eventually I managed to put together small web apps and systems that were actually functional. Nothing groundbreaking by tech industry standards, but still something I’m genuinely proud of.

Not because the apps themselves are impressive, but because for a long time I thought this world probably wasn’t meant for someone like me.

I think AI is changing that.

Not everyone needs to become a hardcore engineer, but more people can now participate in building, experimenting, and sharing ideas in ways that previously felt out of reach.

This site is partly a place to document that journey as I keep figuring things out along the way.

Back to building.
